Tabiko is a travel live streaming app for Android and iOS developed by FAST JAPAN, Inc..

Is Tabiko free?

Services such as broadcasting, watching videos, and posting comments are free of charge. However, data usage fees for connecting to the network are the responsibility of the user.

What is the minimum age requirement?

The minimum age requirement for Tabiko is 18 years old.

How do I log out?

To log out:
1. Tap the My Channel tab menu at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap the Settings icon at the top right of the screen and scroll down.
3. Tap Log out.

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile:
1. Tap the My Channel tab menu at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap the Settings icon at the top right of the screen > Profile.

How do I change my email of Tabiko account?

You cannot change your email from the app. Please contact us at support@fastjapan.com if you want to change your email of Tabiko account.

How do I delete my Tabiko account?

Please contact us at support@fastjapan.com if you want to delete your Tabiko account.

Star Rewards is a digital gift item that you can purchase through App Store/Google Play Store and send to hosts.

Broadcasts

How do I broadcast?

If you’re logged in to your Tabiko account, you can make live broadcasts by following the steps below:
1. Tap the Broadcast tab menu at the bottom center of the screen.
2. Edit the relevant items and tap Go Live to start the broadcast.

What is Detail Button?

Detail Button will be shown on your broadcast screen and your audience will be easily visit the reference page by tapping it.

How long can broadcasts be?

A broadcast can last up to 60 minutes.
Broadcasts cannot be extended. If you would like to continue streaming, please start a new broadcast.

How do I edit my broadcasts?

To delete past broadcasts:
1. Tap the My Channel tab menu at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap the icon to the right of a past broadcast.

How do I delete my broadcasts?

1. Tap the My Channel tab menu at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap the icon to the right of a past broadcast.
3. Tap Delete Broadcast.

My broadcast stopped. How can I restart it?

Once you stop your broadcast, such as by accidentally pressing the stop button, the broadcast will be ended. If you would like to continue streaming, please start a new broadcast.

Can I broadcast in landscape mode?

Unfortunately, landscape mode is not available for broadcasting from the Tabiko smartphone app.

Watching Broadcasts

How can I comment on broadcasts?

You can comment on broadcasts by following the steps below:
1. Tap Text Box at the bottom of the broadcast screen.
2. Write a comment in the field, then tap Send Icon at the right.

How can I delete comments I posted?

You cannot delete comments once they have been posted.

Abuse/Penalties

Precautions about the broadcasting and collection of personal information

Once content is posted online, it can be viewed by anyone around the world. The content you post may be copied in various other places and spread without your knowledge. When making broadcasts or posts, please make sure that the content is something you wish to make public.

Broadcasting and posting your personal information
– Please refrain from making public information which could be used in a harmful manner, such as your email address, phone number, or credit card number.
– People may be able to identify you from broadcasts showing your face, or information such as your address or school name. Please exercise caution when considering what you make public.

Broadcasting and posting the personal information of a third party, such as a friend
– Regardless of the intention, please refrain from making public others’ information without their consent.

Collection of personal information
– Please refrain from using the app to collect the personal information of a third party.

In order to prevent trouble and to ensure users can use Tabiko safely and securely, we may take the measure of suspending accounts. Thank you for your understanding.

Prohibited activity on Tabiko

The following activity is prohibited on Tabiko. If a user’s actions are determined to fall under prohibited activity, penalties will be imposed, including deleting posts, restricting the posting feature, and the suspension of accounts.

Insulting or violent remarks and harassment
Acts interfering with a cast or hindering it from being viewed
Abuse towards the broadcaster

Expressions that may offend a third party
Any acts that violate the law
Any acts notifying of, bragging about, or clearly promoting illegal activities
Any indecent activity or content
Hate speech including discriminatory remarks
Abusive comments about the broadcast content

Using the service for the purpose of meeting other users in person
Broadcasts or comments for the purpose of meeting other users outside of the LINE LIVE app or matchmaking
Broadcasts or comments for the purpose of prostitution
The solicitation of any other indecent acts

Obscene texts, images, or videos
Activity or the posting of text, images, or videos that may be deemed indecent
Note: Broadcasts or comments with sexual content will be subject to deletion.

Posting the personal information of a third party
Collecting the personal information of a third party or broadcasts/comments which indicate you wish to exchange personal details Exchanging personal information with a third party

Content that infringes on likeness rights or copyrights
Posting text, images, or videos that you do not hold the copyright for

Other prohibited activity
Impersonating or posing as another user
Guiding other users to websites which are deemed harmful
Activity which encourages suicide or self-harm
Disregarding the interest of other users, and behavior which could be deemed as spam, such as continuously posting a large number of comments
Other activities that are deemed to be disruptive and interfere with the management of the service
